Ayekwee! (Greetings in Yurok).
My name is Caitlyn Still. I am 22 years old. I am a member of the Yurok Tribe and I was born and raised in Humboldt County. I am also a senior in the Bachelor’s of Social Work program at Humboldt State University, a case management intern at Open Door Community Health Centers and a client advocate at Humboldt Domestic Violence Services. I hope to get into the Master’s of Social Work program at Humboldt State. After I finish my education, I want to work within medical social work, women’s issues and/or Indigenous issues. I would love to work for my tribe as well and/or United Indian Health Services. In my spare time I love to paint, spend time with my dog Frank and tend to my succulents. I am in a relationship with a wonderful man named Pablo and have been since March 21st, 2017. I have also been vegetarian since I was 16.
